TUI-NA

Tui-Na means pinch and pull. It’s a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapeutic massage and bodywork. Tui-Na is not generally used for pleasure and relaxation. It is mostly a therapeutic treatment to address specific patterns of disharmony by pinching right to the acupressure point.

CUPPING

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine. Special hot cups are placed on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. It helps to reduce pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and removes toxins from the body.

GUA-SHA

Gua-Sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scraping skin with a scraping plate to improve circulation. In Gua-Sha, we scrape your skin with short or long strokes to stimulate microcirculation of the soft tissue, which increases blood flow.

HERB

Traditional Chinese Medicine determines the principles and specific treatment methods based on dialectics. Traditionally, there are eight methods for attacking and replenishing in herb clinical practice, namely “sweat, vomiting, vomiting, easing, warming, clearing, replenishing, and eliminating”.

NUTRITION

The key to prevention is to enable high-risk persons to understand how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, avoid overweight and obesity, and reduce the risk of disease through a reasonable diet. On the other hand, the diseased population can control the disease smoothly and reduce the incidence of complications through dietary supplementary treatment.

EAR-POINT

Ear Point is a 2000 year of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment focusing on ear pressure points by placing small stick on plasters with medicinal herbs at the ear points. It is used to reduce pain, regulate internal secretion, help improving vision and sleeping quality.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion (Aijiu) is one of the oldest natural form of treatment with a history of over 3000 yrs. Aijiu is a traditional Chinese herbal which helps to on releasing blockages in the body’s energy pathways, activating circulation when heated and placed close to your body.
In just three sessions Dr. Jiangtao helped me resolve several months of stomach pains, when not even a gastroenterologist could help me. Dr. Jiang Tao was patient and took the time to explain how eastern medicine works differently compared to traditional western treatments. Overall it was a very positive experience and a great introduction to acupuncture. Thank you Dr. Jiangtao!
